About Peculiar Cargo

Peculiar Cargo began as a collection of things too strange to leave behind — trinkets pulled from dusty corners, curiosities that didn't belong anywhere else, and small handmade oddities made to keep that feeling alive.

A collection of animal skulls, horns, and a raw crystal displayed on a dark wood shelf
A little of what surrounds the workbench.

Every item that passes through is chosen or made with the same question in mind: would this look at home in a cabinet of curiosities? If the answer is yes, it ships out.

Dried botanicals and insect specimens being pinned and arranged before framing

Slow work, done by hand — pinning, pressing, and arranging until a piece is ready to be framed. Nothing is rushed, and nothing leaves the workbench until it's right.

New pieces surface in small batches. The full, current collection — along with prices and checkout — lives on Etsy.
